Now I'm about to do the cliche blog post...global warming. It's hard to move throughout your day without hearing about it. (That's a good thing for those who were wondering.) I could sit here and try to argue my point, but instead of solely doing that, I'd like for you to spend 10 minutes of your day with this high school science teacher: (I realize that there are some assumptions in this video...we can talk about this in the comments.)
Now, I'm not sure about you, but I am more of a person based on the principle of situations as opposed to thinking in realistic terms. Instead of being the cynic who says "Eh, what I do on this Earth to help conserve will matter as much as this ant on the ground." I lean to the other side...if there is a CHANCE that I could help save my slice of the Earth by not using my car as much, then that's what I'll be doing. My parents always taught me that when I borrowed something, I need to leave it in better condition than what I found it in. I hold this moral true even to the planet that I exist with.
