I'm done...

...screwing around with mice. Cheryl and I walked into the apartment last night to the mice running around the floor in the dining room, then at the appearance of light, diving into their hideout. For the past couple of weeks, I have been (obviously) conscious of mice, as seen through their droppings, fur, and bad smell of the apartment. But walking in to MY (kinda) place and actually seeing them doing their best to occupy it was the last straw for me. So, today, I bought this, thanks to Lance's tip:

The mice go in and don't come out. Four AA batteries send them a nice jolt, electrocuting them instantly. That red light at the top of the picture comes on when a dead rodent is inside, then you simply walk the thing out to the trash can and pour the sucker out. Like I said, I am DONE with this.

In other news, Cheryl and I got some bookcases for our books on 50% off sale today. They will be put up soon in order to lessen the chaos that is happening in the corner of the room. I love spending money I don't have (yet)
